During my two years at the University of Arkansas as a Post Baccalaureate in ceramics under Jeannie Hulen, I had the pleasure of contributing to the Crafting Content: Ceramic Symposium in 2008.

This symposium was a multi gallery event city wide with live performance art, hands-on demonstrations, panel discussions, and time with the artists. This opportunity to explore the craft of ceramics through the concept was one I will never forget.

This symposium also was presented at the 2008 National Council on Education in the Ceramic Arts [NCECA] in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
